Tom NixonAs a longtime Bay Area resident, I've proudly called this region home since I was a child. I grew up in Pleasanton, moved to San Jose in 1998 after earning my law degree, and began my legal career before transitioning into real estate in 2004.

Today, I combine my legal background with more than 20 years of real estate experience to help buyers, sellers, investors, trustees, executors, and families make informed decisions with confidence. Throughout my career, I've helped more than 500 buyers and sellers successfully navigate real estate transactions throughout Silicon Valley and the greater Bay Area. Whether it's a traditional home sale, a probate or trust transaction, or helping seniors through a major life transition with Senior Relocation Team (SRT), my goal is to provide knowledgeable guidance, exceptional service, and outstanding results.

Before becoming a Realtor, I practiced law in the areas of insurance defense, construction defect, and contract litigation. That experience sharpened my negotiation, communication, analytical, and contract skills—an advantage that continues to benefit my clients today.

I have developed particular expertise in probate, trust, and senior transition real estate. My legal background allows me to work effectively with probate, estate planning, and family law attorneys, trustees, executors, fiduciaries, and financial professionals, helping even the most complex transactions move smoothly from start to finish.

As co-founder of Senior Relocation Team (SRT), I help seniors and their families navigate every aspect of a later-life move. Our team coordinates downsizing, moving, home preparation, senior housing resources, and the sale of the home, providing a comprehensive solution designed to reduce stress and simplify the transition.
